This brave four-month-old kitten came into our care last week with a badly broken front leg.

She was surrendered after her former owner failed to provide the urgent veterinary care she needed.

The cause of Trinity’s injury is unknown, but she couldn’t place any weight on the leg, and it was likely causing her significant pain.

Our vet team promptly conducted xrays and determined that due to the nature of the fracture, amputation was the kindest course of action to give Trinity the best chance of a full and happy life.

In emergency situations like this, we need to act fast in the best interests of the animal. But we are left with an unexpected bill – around $2,500 this case.
