Clipper's Fund

This adorable stray puppy came to us a few days ago severely injured, with two broken legs.

He was rushed to the nearest vet after a member of the public found him in obvious pain and distress, having likely been hit by a passing car.

With no owner coming forward to pay for the urgent veterinary treatment he needed, we were his last hope.

We are ready to do whatever it takes to give Clipper the best chance of recovery and a full, happy life.

But we need your help to cover the costs. As a community-funded charity, we can’t do it without you.

The broken bones are still aligned, and Clipper is only a few months old and still growing, so we are hopeful that this pup may not need surgery. With the right care, the fractures should heal on their own.

Regardless, the costs of his medical treatment will be in the thousands, and his rehabilitation will be extensive.

Even if surgery isn’t required, Clipper will need regular vet checks, x-rays, bandage changes, and weeks of crate rest with a dedicated foster carer.

When he woke up from anaesthesia following x-rays, Clipper was whimpering in confusion, unsure where he was or why he couldn’t stand up. (See video below.)

Our team was right there by his side through it all, providing pain relief and showing him love and care, possibly something he’s experiencing for the first time in his short life.

Will you be there for him too, and help us show Clipper he is not alone?

Thank you for helping our animals in their time of greatest need ?

*The goal for Clipper’s fundraiser includes the cost of x-rays, regular vet checks, medication, rehabilitation, and surgery if required. If his medical and care costs are less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide veterinary care for other animals in need.
