Over 150 guinea pigs and rabbits were surrendered into our care by an overwhelmed owner, after their numbers ballooned out of control.
It’s likely that a lot of the female rabbits were already pregnant when we collected them, so we’re expecting numbers to keep climbing.
This sudden intake has placed a big strain on our already stretched resources. It is only with your kindness that we can be there for all creatures great and small.
We’ve been doing our best to get them adopted or into foster homes, but with over a thousand other animals in care, we’re going hopping mad trying to keep up!
Our ‘Pocket Pets’ areas are overflowing, and we’ve had to repurpose our volunteer and foster offices into rabbit housing.
Will you help provide these adorable fluff balls with the love and care they deserve?
With your support we can desex (so very important!) and vaccinate every rabbit to get them ready for adoption, provide pellets, straw and fresh leafy greens for every small animal, and put on extra staff to keep up with their care needs. Your love will get them into foster homes sooner, and ultimately help them find forever homes.
If you believe every-bunny (and piggy) deserves love and care, please make a kind gift to our ‘No bun left behind’ appeal today.
