He came to us with a badly injured left eye, oozing with blood and other fluids, as well as swollen and infected wounds all over his face and head.
Your loving gift is needed today to help cover the costs of Sampson’s vital medical care.
While we’ll never know the full story, we suspect Sampson is the victim of a dog attack, while living rough on the streets of Whyalla.
After being handed into the council as a stray, Sampson was taken to a local vet, where he received antibiotics and pain relief. With the kind help of an RSPCA rescue team volunteer, this brave pup made the long journey to our Lonsdale shelter for further medical care.
We estimate his medical costs will be around $3,000. Your kindness is needed to help cover this cost and provide Sampson with the urgent treatment he needs.
As a community-funded organisation, we can’t shoulder this cost on our own – especially with the rising cost of living putting additional pressure on our shelter operations.
Thank you for showing Sampson the love that every pup deserves, with a kind contribution to his emergency fund today.
*The goal for Sampson’s fundraiser includes the cost of eye removal surgery if required, flushing of face wounds, desexing, xrays under general anaesthesia, antibiotics, pain relief and post-operative care. If his medical costs are less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals in need.
