Vet Equipment Fund

Vet Equipment Fund

We are in desperate need of a new anaesthetic machine – used to deliver anaesthetic gases and oxygen to patients during surgery.

One of our machines has broken, and this is seriously affecting the number of surgeries we can do each day.

Like any medical equipment, they’re not cheap, and will set us back $2000. Our fingers and paws are crossed that big-hearted people like you will to help us raise the funds needed to purchase one as soon as possible.

This crucial vet equipment is used daily, for every surgery we conduct – from desexing to tumour removals and major dental work.

Your kindness will help save the lives of critically ill animals like Boof (pictured) who recently underwent major dental and eye surgery.

With our shelter currently over capacity, it’s more important than ever that we reduce the time animals spend in our care.

More surgeries each day means we can get animals out of the shelter and into loving homes sooner.

If we can hit our stretch target of $3000, we will also be able to purchase a new surgery light, to help our team safely conduct concurrent surgeries. Any additional funds raised will help purchase other vital equipment needed over the coming months.

Thank you for making a tangible difference to the lives of sick, injured and abandoned animals across South Australia.
